For pace/speed obstacles you need to get a good run up to get kinetic energy once again you have momentum and good foot coordination. If there is a trampoline you have to gain momentum jump with the elastic energy in your legs then you cannot make your legs straight or else they will lock. You have to slightly bend your legs so you can still use that elastic energy. If you land with straight legs they will snap in half. You have to time your landing in order to not break your legs.
